Why is it so?
I install Office 2k on a new computer as Administrator. When I add a profile
and try to launch an Office product, I am prompted for the disk? If the
profile I am adding is not an administrator, I must make that person an
admin while the disk is read and whatever is brought up to date. I can then
return that person to user status and all is well. I do a custom install,
installing the option to run all from my computer. Isn't there some way to
install this product and be done with it? The product is O2k Pro, disks 1 &
2, (pre-sp1). The OS doesn't make any difference. It happens with all.
