New section with heading style?

Is it possible to start a new continuous section each time you use a
Heading style?

I have a Heading 1 style for each new chapter in a document. I would
like it so that anytime I apply a Heading 1 style, it starts a new
continuous section from that point. I see options for page break, but
not sections? Any ideas?

I need a new header / footer with each new chapter I create. I use
Heading 1 at the begining of each chapter as a title, with a page
break, and I was hoping that I could get it so the page break would be
a new section page break. Will make updating the document (which will
be updated and re-organized often) a lot easier.

Ah! No, not really. You might be able to use an AutoText entry that
includes the section break along with a paragraph formatted as Heading
1. That way all you have to do is insert your AutoText entry and the
section break and Heading 1 paragraph is automatically inserted.
