new sent messages not in my sent folder

for some reason the emails that I send (and I do verify they got sent and
received) and not in my send folder. Is there a setting for this that I
turned off by accident? Why are they not being saved to my sent file.
This is a Gmail account.

What version of Outlook? Is the account POP or IMAP?
