New slides for overflow text

This is regarding the post "Make sure that text fits slides, adding new
slides as needed for 'overflow'" in
http://www.pptfaq.com/index.html#ListOfLinks.

I am not a developer so I don't understand the code in the posting, but it
appears that it is what I need. What substitutions or modifications do I
need to make in the code so text overflows at 15 lines of text in one slide
onto a new slide?

Doesn't it do this already? Just enter 15 into the input box instead of 6.

As an aside 15 lines of text is way too much!

It didn't work. Is there anything else I need to modify? What is the
purpose of the underscores in the code?
