new spredsheet problems

My problem occurs when i open excel, the "emty document" spreadsheet has been
renamed "Person". I could live with that, if that was the only problem. If i
use the spreadsheet and save it under a new name, then this spreadsheet also
opens when, on a later occasion I start excel. I have at the moment 3
spreadsheets that open every time I try to open an empty excel document. If I
try to open an earlier dokument, this will open + the 3 other spreadsheets.

When opening an emty excel document, they open in a library called "XLSTART"
.. I imagine that this is where the misery lies. I have no idea how this
library became the default library, but i cannot copy, delete or whatever.

In Excel 2003 or earlier, click on Tools | Options | General. The "At
startup, open all files in:" box should be empty. If it contains a
folder name, delete it, and click on OK.

Secondly, Excel automatically opens all Excel files saved in the XLSTART
folder when you start Excel, so stop saving your files there, and use
Windows Explorer or My Computer to move your existing Excel files out of
the XLSTART folder.
