New to Project Pro and Server

I have a project in Project Server and have set up Project Server. When I
view the Enterprise options to 'Import Project to Enterprise' the option and
others are disabled. What do I need to set up to make my project in Pro
enterprise aware?

You need to create a user login account in Microsoft Project Professional
and use this to log into Project Server. Here's how:

1. Launch Microsoft Project
2. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Microsoft Office Project Server
Accounts
3. Click the Add button
4. Enter a name for the login and a URL for your Project Server
5. Click the Test Connection button to confirm the URL
6. Click the Set as default option and then click OK
7. Select the "Manually control connection state" option and click OK
8. Close Microsoft Project Professional and relaunch the software
9. In the dialog, click the Connect button

Hope this helps.

"You first have to point project to the server. This is done under
tools>>enterprise options>>microsoft office project servers.
you need to add your server to that list. Then make it a trusted site.
Select the manual connection option so you can sign into the server.

That worked. Thanks.

One more question: Do I "import to enterprise" my project before I can
"publish" the same project?
