New to project server

Windows 2000 Server, sp3, project 2002 server
client Win2k, project 2002.
web access works great. http://project2003, but when
trying to connect from project 2002 tools/enterprise
options/ms project server acc/add

account name
url is http://project2003

test connection returns Unexpected server response, etc
details say page cannot be displayed. Have I used the
wrong url? Please point me in the right direction.

Hi Eddie,

Unless you adjusted IIS or DNS, the URL should be
http://project2003/projectserver.

Try this and see if that fixes the problem. Also, I have noticed that at
times the 'Test Connection' option will report an incorrect error, but you
can still login. I have not investigated why this is, but be aware of that.
