New User Default to Team Member Group in 2007

Is there any way in 2007 Server to have new users that we import or create to
default to the Team Member group just like they do in 2003? At the moment,
resource/ users are not assigned to any group.

When you sync the Enterprise Resource Pool with an AD security group, users
are automatically added to the Team Members security group.

If you don't want to use AD sync, you'll have to script a server event to
add the group automatically.

When I do a Save and Sync Now operation, if I have not explicitly specified a
group for the user in AD, then none is assigned when they are sync'ed. What
do you think am I doing wrong. Note, using 2007.
