New user defined date field

My business is designing and making wedding dresses I need to be able to sort
my business contacts by their forthcomming wedding date. I can set up a new
user defined field and view the new field in a custom view telephone list but
outlook will not let me enter data into this new field. Help would be much
appreciated.

As of now, BCM does not allow adding user defined fields to its forms. We can
only add fields in the view, but cannot enter any data in it.
A workaround solution for you could be to use an existing field, such as the
Anniversary field.
