Hi,
I am new to Access and would like to start a database which would contain
several text fields and one picture, a bit like an estate agents window
perhaps. Question, is Access the product I need or should I be looking at
something else.

Access is capable of it: take a look at the Categories form in the
Northwinds database that comes with Access.
