Newbie - InfoPath with SharePoint

Paul

Hello,

Thank you for reading me. Basically I have created an infopath form,
and seeking advise on how I can integrate this with SharePoint on
Windows Small business server 2003.

I would like users to do either of these:
1) Click 'fill out form' to open the InfoPath template, automatically
assign an ID number. Allow them to complete the form. Hit submit send
it to sharepoint. Then users can go back into the entry via sharepoint
and fill out more parts of the form.

2) See InfoPath completed forms on SharePoint and be able to open
them, add / amend and resave back into sharepoint as an amendment
(with version control).

Why? I hear you cry. Well I am looking to start creating a lot of
these forms for various business functions. For example design change
control. Someone can initial a design change proposal, and infopath
instructs the user on what they need to do, depending on what fields
they have selected. Other users can then update the form on task
progress etc.

I would be very grateful for any assistance anyone can offer.
Kindest regards,
~ Paul

Thank you for replying.

I want them to be able to edit a semi-completed form.

So one user can start to fill out a form, which appears on sharepoint.
And another user can edit and add further information.
