NEWBIE: Outlook Express 6 Newsreader - cached files?

How do I delete all the cached files from Outlook Express 6 Newsreader? Are
they cached?

I've noticed that some binary attachments are still available to me (in the
preview pane) after other message headers from the thread have been deleted
from my server. Are they taking up hard disk space somewhere? Can I delete
them? They are usually mp3's or MIDI files etc.
