Does FrontPage have the ability to attach to MS-Access databases, so that
you can build a fairly complex page that works with lots of data?

No, but it has the tools to enable you to do so.

If the page is "fairly complex" you may have to do some of your own
hand-coding of ASP, but you certainly can. I did for years.
