newbie question: web site crashes

I created a web site using publisher (first time) but it when I browse the
site internet explorer crashes. This also happens to my friends who have
looked at the site.

Any suggestions re how to diagnose the problem?

You aren't giving too many clues but obviously something is greatly
wrong in the markup of the page.

Go here and fill in your URL where it asks for the address:
http://validator.w3.org/

Then start fixing the errors one by one.

Microsoft Publisher-generated HTML will never pass through the W3C's
validator (especially recent versions, errors in which will probably number
into the thousands), but should not make Internet Explorer crash.

Suggestion: ask in microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign
