newbie question

i just installed office 2003, and opened in infopath.

i can't find how to get the xml source of the form i created.

To build an InfoPath form based on an existing form:
Select "Design a form"
Under "Design a form", select "New from XML Document or Schema..."
That walks you through a couple of steps should get you going.

Jerry, i have no existing form, i created a form with the form designer of
infopath.
in fact , i want to see the structure of xml. is there any other way i can
see it or any sample.

Sorry about that...
There are 2 ways to do this.
If you just want to look at the basic xml, open the form in the editor, and
save it.
Open Form1.xml (or whatever you called it) and there you are

The 2nd way is in the designer, select File / Extract form files.
For a simple form, this will give you 5 different files. Template.xml is the
easiest to read for the basic xml.

Is that more of what you need?
