newly installed Outlook 2000 won't run on XP

I installed MS Office 2000 Small Business on a machine running XP. Word and
Excel work fine, but Outlook won't even open?

Any error messages? Anything logged in the Event Log?

I am having the same problem. I get an error message:

Failed to register a VB script.DLL. I have self registered and the message
still comes back.
also;

The Key 'Display Name' is either missing or has an incorrect value. [File
C:\microsoft office\ office 10\forms\1033\sfcrec(2).cfg, sector description.

I'm stumped.
