Office 2003 sp3.

I've saved the design template to the default directory (Program
files\Microsoft Office\templates) and to the directory where the OTHER
templates reside in this organization's installation (Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates\Presentation Designs) and to the my local template file
(Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Office\Templates)

Closed/reopened/rebooted/did a little dance/sacrificed a USB Mouse to the
Microsoft god - NADA.

Still not available as a thumbnail in the "Available for Use" section of
PPT. Can browse to it, but who cares....

What am I missing? TWO mice?

(Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application

is the correct location. When you save as a .pot file you should be
automatically taken there. You did work on the slide master and save as a
..pot file??

Sometimes you seem to have to use the template before the thumbnail appears.

Sorry I can't help more
