News group question

Has anyone else noticed this??

I read / post to this news group using
machines at different locations.
Same news reader, OE6
Same ISP, Earthlink DSL. ( different accounts though )
Post directly to and access the news group directly
with both without using Earthlink news servers.

Posts that show up in one machine don't always
show up on the other.
Or posts and replies will show in one machine,
but only the original post in the other.
Refreshing, getting next headers etc make no difference.

Color me confused.

Steve,

It depends upon when the NG is indexed by OE6 and which headers it believe
it has already downloaded. I see the same thing on my laptop system.

Thanks,
I had even gone as far as exporting/importing the accounts
( registry values )
from machine a to machine b to see if I'd missed a setting.
