I am new to this and a friend told me to get involved with news groups to
share thoughts, and downloads. How do I get started ?

Hi Rick,
If you have questions about any Access databases you are using or working
on, just post your questions here and volunteers will take the time to write
an answer.
There is nothing else special you need to.
So if you have a question, just send a post with the question.

There are tens of thousands of newsgroups covering a wide variety of subjects.
The subject for this particular newsgroup is the design of data entry Forms in
the database software Microsoft Access.

If you're working on an Access Form, post your question here and one of us
volunteers will try to answer it.

If you're looking for some other subject, use your newsreader's tools to
browse the list of newsgroups and find one suitable to that subject.
