Well, yes there is a way to do this. You can have the db look in the
registry for a value (a scrambled date, using some custom function you
create) and if its not there, set the value. Then each time the db is
launched have it compare the current date to the registry's date value and
if it exceeds the registry value + X and there's no password, then the db
fails to run.
