news reader missing from outlook 2003

I have followed the steps in the on-line help.

On the Standard toolbar, I clicked the Toolbar Options
arrow. Then I clicked "Add or Remove Buttons"
| "Customize". Next I clicked the "Commands" tab and
then "Go" in the categories list.

At this point there should have been a "news" icon that I
could have dragged onto the "Go" menu, but it is not
there.

Has anyone else seen this, or know how to fix it?

Make sure Outlook Express is set as the default newsreader in Control
Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs
