Newsgroups??

Q

Quark

When clicking on Newsgroups I receive a column of
"microsoft.public.access......."
How does one acquire the full heading??? before clicking on a header and
then finding out you don't want it?
Thank you all, Q....

if you're in Outlook, position your mouse pointer on the outside border of
the scroll bar at the right side of the column. when you're right on the
border, the pointer turns into a two-sided arrow. click and drag the border
to the right, until you can see the full headers.

I see you're using Outlook Express. In my set-up, I have 3 sections: the
groups are on the left, the top half of the right-hand side shows the posts
within the selected group, and the bottom half of the right-hand side shows
the text of a selected post. The dividing bars between all three sections
are movable. As well, if I hold my mouse over a group on the left-hand side,
a "tool tip" pops up with the complete name of the group.

Right-click on the message header and select Properties. Then select Details
tab.

In that info, you'll see the X-Newsreader: line. That identifies the
software being used by the poster.

For example, you're using
X-Newsreader: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158
