Newsletter creation problem... PLEASE HELP !!!

I created a 4 column newsletter. I want to put on my first
column an application form I have which is created in
tables on another Word2000 page. I hope I can explain my
problem.

I am trying to put this application form on one of my
columns but I want to put it there sideways. In a way that
the reader has to turn the newsletter 90 degree in order
to read and fill out this form.

So far I'm in my 6th unsuccessful day. Before it kills me,
Please help!
:(

Thanks in advance guys,

Jim

Several possibilities that occur right off the bat:

1. Put the table in a text box or frame and use the Text Direction command
to rotate it. Sounds like a simple solution but unfortunately doesn't work.

2. Create the table rotated by swapping rows and columns and then using Text
Direction to rotate the text (very difficult conceptually and definitely not
worth the trouble if you've already created the table).

3. Copy the table and use Paste Special: As Picture to insert it. Change the
wrapping from In Line With Text to some other style, then rotate the
picture. The easiest solution but may not give the desired resolution.

4. Create the table, precisely placed, in another document with portrait
orientation and run the paper through the printer again to add it to the
waiting space on the printed newsletter. This is very low-tech, but if
you're printing just one copy (to be photocopied or commercially printed
multiple times), this can be much the simplest solution. It's what I've been
doing for years for the mailing panel of our Rotary bulletin cover and the
membership form of the Friends of the Library brochure.

5. Start over in Publisher, in which you can rotate text in any text box to
any angle.
