We are trying to create a program in booklet format for high school graduation listing the students names in alpha order. We are using word xp and want two columns per page in landscape view and dividing the page in half so we can fold the booklet so acutally a total of four columns on one page in landscape. Is there a way to have what wordperfect called newspaper columns? Also a way to divided the landscaped page into two pages and have a footer centered at the bottom of each page? and then do what wordperfect called booklet printing? THANKS!!! and our Records Clerk thanks you also! Is there a template created somewhere that does all this?

Check the MS Office support site. There are many types of templates and
other interesting stuff. Google "booklet format word", etc., and see
what if anything pops up.

Format | Columns will give you newspaper-style columns, which will go part
of the way toward what you want. For booklets, though, especially if you
want headers and footers, you need to use the "Book fold" feature in Word
2002 and above (this can be selected on the Margins tab of Page Setup). If
you find that this doesn't give the results you expect, you can still create
booklets manually using the techniques described at
