Printing Landscape with columns and page numbers

D

Dasin

I have a report that prints out members information with the layout
being landscape and two columns using down then over. The problem I am
having is page numbers. At the bottom of the first column it shows
page 1. At the bottom of the second column there is no number. This
page is folded in half, with the first column being on the left and
the second column being on the right side of the booklet that they are
put in. For this to work in the booklet format I need a page number
under each column.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks,
James

Your problem is that a column is not a page, which is what you seem to
assume is the case. There's no booklet format for Access reports (at least
through Access 2003).

If I want to print in booklet format, I have had good luck with the
ClickBook software from Blue Squirrel. It's not free, but easy to use -- it
installs as a printer, so you just print in portrait mode, one column per
page, with a larger-than-usual font, and it takes care of shrinking the
pages, and arranging them in the proper order. (I have no business
relationship with Blue Squirrel, except that I am one of their paying
customers.)

If you are looking for free booklet software, I'd start at
http://www.sourceforge.com.
