We have a company brochure in MS Word and I was wondering if we can convert
it to Publisher. Any help would be appreciated.

Bill, depending on the version of Publisher and Word you are using, yes you
can. You will be able to open the Word document in Publisher with if you are
running Publisher 2002 or 2003. If you are running Publisher 2000 and older,
you will only be able to import the text.

You can also use a copy and paste between your Word application and your
Publisher application.

thanks Brian
I have Publisher 2000 and i was able to open up my word document.
Unfortunately the text is scattered & it did not keep the same page layout.
i.e. some text is shown on the wrong page like a run on

That will happen because the two file types are not compatible. Formatting
will be required after copy/pasting.

Bill, there is a conversion feature in Publisher that will
allow you to import Word documents. In Publisher 2003 it
will save graphics and formatting (text is RTF). In
earlier versions I don't think you can import graphics
automatically.

Check out the file menu.
