Niku 5.2 Failed Export

Hello all,

An earlier post gave me some clues, but I've since hit some new obstacles.

I was at a site to perform a test (moving Niku Workbench data to MSP 2003
data) and could only save the file
from Workbench into an .rpm (I think) file, and I could not find a way for
MSP 2000 to open any Niku Workbench files directly. There also does not
appear to be an export function in Workbench itself, and I could not find
anything in the help files regarding exporting of file. I found the
function inside Niku Repository which allowed me to specify saving as an MPP
file, while I had a project selected which looked promising. This however
failed with the error 'Microsoft Project error: Macro "OpenFromRepositoryEx"
not found, followed by another dialog that says 'Verify Niku Macros are
correctly installed'. Help indicates not much more other than to say that
the MPP file will not be created as a result.

Any clues?

Thanks

Steve

Stephen:

It sounds as though the Niku implementation is lacking the macros to
complete the task. Inasmuch as you've not gotten a reply here, perhaps you
can try Niku's support channels.

Thanks Gary. I have gotten the conversion process to work, and there was
macros missing that I had to install after installing MSP 2000. The
conversion is however far from seamless, dates are out of whack, statuses
are not correct (s.b complete and they are not), so I still working that
front.
