Hi Troy,
Thanks for your last answer, it really shed some light on the subject and
made it easier for me to plan out the process. Here is where I got to
though. I was at the site to perform a test and could only save the file
from Workbench into an .rpm (I think) file, and I could not find a way for
MSP 2000 to open any Niku Workbench files directly. There also does not
appear to be an export function in Workbench itself, and I could not find
anything in the help files regarding exporting of file. I found the
function inside Niku Repository which allowed me to specify saving as an MPP
file, while I had a project selected which looked promising. This however
failed with the error 'Microsoft Project error: Macro "OpenFromRepositoryEx"
not found, followed by another dialog that says 'Verify Niku Macros are
correctly installed'. Help indicates not much more other than to say that
the MPP file will not be created as a result.
Any clues?
Thanks
Steve

yes. we've done conversions with niku npm 5.2
there really isn't a conversion. If people are using ms project 2000, just
load the new projects into ps2003
If they are using niku workbench, just export the project schedule into an
mpp file from workbench OR open the file from project 2000 and save as an
mpp file. Load into ps2003.
