No assignments to publish after saving a new project plan

Hello,

I have renamed some of our projects by opening the projects, saving them
under a new name and then deleting the old projects from the database. I
have re-published the projects but when I try to publish the assignments I
get a message that says "there are no assignments to publish"

Why is that and how do I solve it please ?

Do you have Generic resources assigned to each task? If so, resource
assignments are not published for Generic resources by definition. Let me
know.

Hi Dale,

No there are no generic resources assigned only named individuals. All I
have done is taken an old project, re-saved it under a new name, then
deleted the old one. But I can't now publish the assignments so none of the
resources can be advised of the assignments in the new project.

What happens if you click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments?
Are you able to republish the assignments in this plan?
