No clipart appears after insert into word

Since I have updated to office XP, whenever I insert a clipart image, it does
not show up in the document, rather I must choose to edit picture without the
option of regrouping. Also when I save something from a disk or other sorce
that has clipart images in it, the box apears but the picture does not.

In Word, tools, options, view tab, clear Picture placeholders.
