No data in folder when open or import from Outlook data file - 200

I am trying to open my backup file. I name it "outlook" and put it in the
"Local Settings/Application Data/Microsoft/Outlook" folder. Then when I open
Outlook (2003), only the Delete Items folder has data in it. I've also tried
to import from this folder with the same results.

What can I do to view the contacts and other information in the file? The
file is 115MB, so there has to be something in it!

First, you cannot expect Outlook to find a PST simply by placing it in the
folder you name. Second, you are likely to damage the mail profile if you
overwite a PST.
Then when I open

Sounds like you made your backup incorrectly. The symptoms you describe are
consistent with a damaged PST.
