Recently when I attempt to find and open a Word document using the "Open"
dialog box, no Word icons show for the individual documents. Icons are
present for all folders, but not for documents.
The individual Word documents do show if I browse the My Documents folder.
The individual documents also show if I use the "Insert File" function.
Running Detect and Repair did not help. I also was
not able to find any solution on the Microsoft website. The program
previously worked fine and there has been no recent installation of new
software or other potential cause I can identify. Any ideas of what I might
to correct this?
(I am running Office 2002 on XP SP1.)
