No E-mail notifications

Mindaugas Bliûdþius

When i assign tasks to resources (then publish them) there are no e-mail
notifications. I could see that there are no e-mail notifications at all
when a work with MSProject or PWA. Do i need to configure something besides
that i
entered e-mail addresses for all resources? Do i need Exchange server? I
also entered SMPT in WSS in "Configure default e-mail settings".

Your Project Server Admin needs to do the following to enable Notifications
and Reminders:
- Open Project Web Access (PWA)
- Click Admin on the menu bar
- Select Customize Project Web Access (in the blue Action bar on the left)
- Select Notifications and Reminders near the top of the blue Action Bar
- Set the parameters correctly. It took our network staff several
iterations to get these correct. Good luck.

In addition to these configuration options, each individual can customize
their notification options and each project manager can customize the
notification options for their project.
