no files show up as type "Add-ins" to Add to Basic Access Installation

I have Office 2000 CD's; basic Access installation had
been done on my PC, and I was trying to install the
Switchboard Add-In but the Add-In Manager list is empty.

Trying to install the Add-Ins, but no files show up as
type "Add-ins".

Can you help?

In Access 2000, the switchboard manager is no longer an add-in. If I recall
correctly, the Switchboard manager is under one of the submenus of the Tools
menu. I can't check that right now, but look around it is already installed,
just moved to a new location.
