I have a client that spends much of the time working
remotely from the exchange server. He is set up with a
VPN link to the network via a dial up internet account.
He is a heavy user of email and works offline most of the
time running regular synchronisations. This for the most
part works very well however occasionally he will create
an email or reply to one, and for some reason the "from"
field doesn't get filled in. The result is that the email
is rejected at the exchange server and a no delivery
report is produced. This is obviously very frustrating as
you can imagine. Has anyone ever come across similar
problems? How could I fix this?
Server version exchange 2003 on sbs 2003, outlook 2003 on
windows XP.
