No Hotmail outbox

I am a new Mac user and have two POP accounts on Entourage (Earthlink and Hotmail). Hotmail is my default account. Whenever I compose a message and hit the send button, there is no outbox to review my message. If I compose the message in Earthlink, the message goes to the regular outbox. Why don't Hotmail emails go to the outbox? How do I get an outbox for hotmail?

Hotmail is not a POP account. Hotmail accounts are Web-based mail accounts.
You can use Entourage to send and receive messages from a Hotmail account,
rather than connect to the Hotmail Web site with a Web browser.

Mail accounts from Windows Live Hotmail Plus (formerly MSN Hotmail Plus),
can be set up in Entourage by using the Account Setup Assistant.

Free Windows Live Hotmail accounts cannot be set up in Entourage. Free Gmail
accounts can be set up in Entourage.
