No Icon appearing when inserting Word file

When trying to insert a word file into a Visio file, we select the file,
check the box display as Icon, yet no icon appears. We can even tried
editing the icon displayed and picking one from the list. The only thing
that appears on the diagram is the file name. Any ideas?

Thanks, I'll have her give that a try. At least it is good to know that we
are not going crazy, and missing something obivous.
