no IE connection after installing office pro 2007 beta 2

after I installed office pro 2007 beta 2, I have not been able to use IE 6 to
get online. I upgraded to ie 7.0.5346.5 and that doesn't help. I open up
firefox and it work fine. I am running windows xp sp2.
