No images in Pub. 2002

Hello all,

I have a workstation running Win XP Pro SP1 with an integrated Intel display
adapter. It recently downloaded and installed SP2. This caused Office 2002
to do a whole bunch of wierd things. We uninstalled SP2 and all but one of
the problems with office went away, specifically the remaining problem is
with Publisher.

When I try to open an existing Publisher document now, many of the pictures
are missing. There is a place saver there and the pictures appear in the
open dialog box but they do not appear when the document is open and they do
not print.

I've seen this issue addressed with Pub. '03 & ATI drivers and have tried
many of the solutions in this forum with no success. Has anybody come across
this? Please Help!

So as not to be accused of being lazy, here is what I've tried thus far:

1. View menu, Picture... -- Already set to Detailed Display
2. Open pub and go to: Tools/Options/Security/Macro security/Trusted
publishers and put a check mark in Trust all installed add-ins and
templates.--Already checked
3. Updated Video driver for integrated video card -- latest driver
4. Downloaded and installed all Office updates that are available

What format are the pictures? Do you get an error?

An inserted TIFF graphic image is the wrong color or displayed as a red "X" in
Publisher
