No images on Website!

Why do the images on my webpages fail to appear on my website online? In my
manual, it says that FP will ask me a question about such images when I save
each document, but FP did not do this! If my website does not know where to
find the images, how can I correct this?

Make sure that you import all images into the current open FP web before using the image within the
web. Make sure to use JPG and GIF image only and with JPG images be sure to save in RGB color format
and not CYMK format.

The key to this MUCH asked question is to be sure to
import the images into your Front Page disk-based web
prior to using them in your disk-based web.

If you do not do this, when you publish your web to your
host the links will point to the hard drive on your PC
and other visitors will not be able to access them.

If you require more info, spend some time looking at the
MANY threads on this subject in this newsgroup.

you need to make sure you have

1) an open Web
2) imported the images
3) inserted the images into your page(s).
4) published the page(s)
5) published the image file(s)
6) made sure they're pointing to an http: location not like
file://c:\file\folder\file.jpg etc
