No information to display in published plans

Some of the project managers are getting the
message: "There is no information to display in this view.
Either the project manager has not published the project
plan or there is no information in the project plan to
display." when they try to view the project plan via the
web access. The project managers have performed the
colloborate > publish > all information from Project
Professional.

What can cause this situation to arise, and what can be
done about it?

errors should I be looking for?
