No Items Currently Selected

In my "Sent" box, the lower pane which says "No Items Currently Selected"
has been removed. I don't know how this happend but how do I get it back?

Sounds like you're referring to the reading/preview pane. What version of
Outlook are you using? Most likely it's controlled by an entry on the View
menu, check around there
