No Longer Able to Change Status Managers on Project Plan

PS2007 SP1

I have been logging into Project Professional as different users in test and
production to change Status Managers on project plans when needed. Now when
I log into Project Professional as another user - it no longer recognizes
that I have logged in as someone else and only displays me as a choice for a
Status Manager in a new project plan. This is happening on test and
production.

Another user can still log in as other users on her machine to update Status
managers.

This is what would happen on users machines who had not installed SP1 yet
but I have had the same setup since earlier this year on my PC and am not
sure what could have changed to cause this issue.

Any suggestions would be helpful

Thanks

RQ, the user you are using when you loggon the second time, may have
different access rights that your user account. Double check the security of
the second user and see if you can find a difference between you and the
other users security.
Let me know if this fixes it.
Thanks

Marc,

Yes - the access rights are different but this had worked fine previously.
On test I changed one of the users to an Admin level like me and it still did
not make a difference. The cache file that is created on my C: drive
recognizes that a different user is logged and names the file with the new
user name but the application does not seem to recognize the difference any
more within MS Project

Marc --

I would be glad to clear RQ of all his cash! :) I want to move to Florida
this Spring, and will need cash to pay the movers.

To move to Florida, do I need to clear out your cash as well? HA! :)

I heard its an expensive place and cache wont do it, so I guess cash is
required :) the joy of a second language :)

Marc,

I found another post with this issue and it was resolved by running the
diagnostics program in Project Pro which repaired the program.

Thanks
