No mouse wheel scrolling in Toolbox->Styles menu

I'm very happy with the new version of Office, but I've discovered a major annoyance in Word. In the Styles section of the Toolbox, the style selection is no longer a drop-down menu. Instead it is a scrollable list. However, my mouse scroll wheel does not initiate scrolling, so I must click-and-drag on the scroll bar which is awkward and time consuming.

Is this a problem unique to my installation or a bug in the application? My workaround has been to add the Formating toolbar to the main toolbar (which still utilizes a drop-down menu for Styles). But, I prefer to use the Toolbox for everything since it doesn't eat up vertical real estate.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

That's a bug. It will hopefully be fixed in the first service release,
which they hope to release very soon (no, neither we nor Microsoft knows the
date for sure: it's in testing now, they will publish it when it passes!)

Yeah, it's one of several locations where the scroll wheel won't get it
done:-( MacBU is aware of the matter but when a fix might occur is anyone's
guess... If it ever gets implemented at all.

One optional workaround is that the Formatting Toolbar doesn't have to
remain docked and once you change it to floating you can drag its lower
right corner to reapportion the controls & drag it of to the side. As long
as you don't reconfigure it to a single column of controls the Styles list
will remain scrollable.

Thanks for the info, John. Here's to hoping the update comes soon and includes a fix for this bug.
