No option to synchronize with onenote

I am running Vista and have OneNote 2007. I've been using OneNote
Mobile on my PPC running WM6.1. I just noticed that my onenote notes
on the ppc are not syncing with the program on the laptop. I've read
about checking what content is syncronized between the laptop and ppc
but onenote mobile is not even listed here.

Has anyone got any experience with this issue?

Are you looking for the option in Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)?
Should be in the 'Mobile Device Settings' option, 'Change content sync
settings'. The device needs to be connected, and set up to sync.

Yes, that is the option I am looking for. But on my computer it is not
in WMDC sync settings. It's missing! I'm looking for a way put it
there.

I have no idea on what it might be :-(
Did you try to make a new install of ON Mobile on the PPC?

I'm baffled as well. Trying to install/re-install OneNote Mobile would be my
suggestion as well. That action is typically what establishes the
opportunity to sync. Your Mobile didn't happen to come with OneNote
pre-installed did it? If so you might start the install process, and let the
PC part run. You can cancel once the bits on the Mobile ask if you want to
install and where. By then everything that should happen on the PC, should
have happened.

Yes, it did come preinstalled with ON Mobile. The program, along with the
sync file, is located in the Windows directory of the PPC. The PPC registry
entries also point to this location.

When I install from the PC, inside ON, it does install to a OneNote Mobile
directory in the Program Files folder on the PPC. So I have two copies on my
PPC in two different locations. Inside the registry on the PPC the entries
point to two different places:
The InstallPath points to the Program Files location and the Synchronization
entry points to the Windows location. By the way, the only ON Mobile
syncronization file is in the windows directory, not the Program Files folder.

Interesting! Never heard of this option.

The existing of two installs might be the cause of the problems.

You might uninstall *both* and make a fresh install from inside ON on
the PC.
