No outlook.pst file to run scanpst.exe on...

I have outlook 2000 running on my XP machine. I receive the "Errors have been
detected in "C:\documents and settings\HP_administrator\local
settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst" today for the first
time ever. This is when I try to start Outlook. I have a pretty big inbox.

I don't have that path. There is no "local settings" off of HP_administrator.

I also have no file called outlook.pst or outlook.ost anywhere on my hard
drive.

So, I don't know what to run scanpst.exe on. I do have scanpst.exe in the
....\1033\NT directory.

Any ideas?

The Application Data folder is (IIRC) a hidden folder, as is the pst file a
hidden file. In Windows Explorer do Tools-Folder Options-View and
check/uncheck the relevant setting...then you should be able to see both the
folder and the pst file...
