no password requested

After using the DWI and after few uses of the database the results page does
not ask for a password.
I have flushed all the cache but still it does not request a password.
Also the new.asp page redirects me to the database editor login page.

Regarding the database editor asking for password - when you set up the page for
this, did you specify a password - in the database interface wizard, there is an
*option* to password protect the editing functions.

This may be why it is asking for the password, I don't think it would do so
without some intervention from you (i.e. you specifying a password) in the first
place. If you click on the link to edit the DB, if you set up a password, then
it will prompt you.

There is a way to change it, or delete it. I think the password is stored in the
file named "password.asa" or "logon.asa" or something similar. do a search for
*.asa on your system.

Don't know about the first question, sorry.....
