no password reqwest

Hi,
I've got really weird problem with some users in my organization.
While connecting to our exchange server from outside of the local network,
usually they get login password request but now some of them don't get that
request and therefore they can't login to the server, cant sync there mail
boxes and obviously cant work.
my exchange server is 07 V.08 and we are working on office 07 as well.
any ideas?

At the right bottom corner, there would be a "Need password" box then. Click
it and they'll be prompted for their password.

They should be prompted at Outlook startup as well. If not, it usually means
that they don't have a connection to the server, are still logged on with
previous credentials or their password is cashed in a password manager.
