No permission to send as current user

Outlook 2003, when a regular Exchange 2003 user sends an
email to anyone: at random and inconsistent times, they
are given an error message stating they do not have
permission to send as the user they are.

So, you have to display the From field, delete the their
own username, and then leave it blank for them to be able
to send the email.

Any ideas? Thank you.

These are *new* messages? Or replies to older ones? A server migration
recently?

Could be older ones. But, one was just from last friday.

We did migrate from MSMail, back in April 2004.

Any other ideas?

Thank you.
