No Product Key...

I have a new computer with Windows XP pro. I tried to
install Office 2000 Standard from the CD, but there is no
Product Key on the CD. I suspect this is so because I
originally bought it for a Windows 98 system.

Is there some way that I can install it on the XP computer?

Nope. You have an OEM licence by the sounds of it, and it is *PERMANENTLY*
tied to the system it was sold with - it cannot be transferred under *any*
circumstances.

If you need Office on your new system then you must purchase it retail.
